The Purple Mexican Heirloom is not something available through seed banks or web sites. I acquired this cultivar many years ago from a Mexican grower who had it in their collection for a long time. They got it from an older grower who passed away a few years ago. So not 100% sure of its origin but it has been inbred for many years in Mexico.

Some like to smoke this unusual strain and some like to use it for cross breeding and hybrid creations. The bonus of this cultivar if you use it for breeding the purple coloring is dominant and will carry over to your new creation. It also carries a resistance to PM. Great for outdoor growers.
